Tony, a 51-year-old Londoner from Notting Hill, started his martial arts training in 1990 under Sifu George Robinson of Wu Shu Kwan. He continued his training with Sifu Barry Hunte in 1992 at the Tadema Centre. After training for a couple of years Tony took some time out and resumed his training to take his 1st Degree Black Belt in 1997.
Currently, he is still training under Sifu Barry at Quentin Kynaston School where Sifu Barry runs one of his classes. He also attended numerous training sessions under Master Koh, from the early days at Royal Oak to Elephant & Castle where we had the senior classes to the present day at Kensington Leisure Centre.
Tony has been teaching for 2 years, assisting the junior grade students at the Fatima Community Centre where he is the Assistant Instructor to Sifu Barry.
In 2010, at the ZSK’s grading in November, Tony was awarded an Honorary 2nd Degree Black Belt for his commitment, loyalty and dedication to Zhuan Shu Kuan.
Tony works in the Fashion industry as a Tailor/Designer after obtaining his B.A. (Hons) in 1998. He started working freelance and has built up his own clientele; having made garments for many famous people.
