I started my martial arts training with Sifu Glen Cudjoe and Jackie Rammage at Warwick University at the end of 1987 and during the summer breaks trained in London at Sifu Glen’s much-feared Thursday class and Master Henry’s Tuesday Royal Oak class. When I returned to live in London I took my 1st Degree Black Belt in 1991 and continued training at Master Koh’s Saturday classes. I travelled for a number of years, training with various different Kung Fu styles as there were no ZSK centres abroad, but primarily in Thai Boxing for 3 years with Paul Grima’s Pitbull Gym in Sydney, Australia.
When I returned to the UK in 2000, I resume my training with Sifu Cudjoe with the aim of taking my 2nd Degree Black Belt,
which I did on 29th July 2001.
I have trained since with Master Koh and Sifu Cudjoe until recently, as and when family life and work permits.
Hopefully, I will continue to attend training at the Tuesday’s “fighting” classes at QK Academy when I am in London, as I am
now residing in Cambridgeshire.
Who knows, I might find the time in future to train for my 3rd Degree in 2013. Never say, never! If there’s a will, there’s a way.
